Overweight Loads / Super Loads Office

Two vital functions of the Overweight / Super Loads division involve the permitting of overwidth / overweight loads and the monitoring and oversight of the self-issuing permit program.

The office not only permits these loads but also establishes the routes that the carrier will be required to take, both in the interest of safety and to also minimize highway wear and tear. 

The self-issuing permits program allows qualified companies to issue their own trip permits to travel to Wyoming destinations and to cross the state.
